Biography:
The
band formed in Melbourne, Australia in early 2006
and with all the members initially having been influenced
by the late 90’s math metal scene.
Their sound quickly moved past these ideals and
broadened to a less genre specific style. Drawing
from a larger music base further strengthened their
song writing. The band have been likened to a great
number of diverse bands, due to their chameleon
like ability to shift styles over single tracks.
Having
recently completed work on their debut EP entitled
Your Daughters Are Divine, Kids With Guns For Hands
are now looking towards a busy schedule of local,
national and hopefully international shows. New
material is always on the boil, so a new release
is never that far away.
With
time, KWGFH seem to be finding a clearer, more coherent
voice, juggling disjointed time signatures with
catchy melodies and powerful rhythms into their
own unique style.
